NEWS! CollActive Materials launches with idea labs, kombucha workshops and kids’ activities

What happens when you put two clusters and a dozen citizens around a table filled with robotic hands, kilobots, 3D prints of human bone structures, kombuchas, and wearable bark? They come up with new ideas, they imagine the future, and design possible sceneries for our present.

And that’s exactly what happened at Mall Anders on 20 and 21 May, when members of Science of Intelligence and Matters of Activity – Image Space Material launched the experimental laboratory CollActive Materials. Through an idea lab featuring Caroline Duncan and Martin Müller, a kombucha workshop, and two hands-on slime activities for kids, we were able to start a conversation with the public, and the exchange was extremely interesting! Check out the photos below for a taste of what it was like.
