Doruk Isik is currently working as a student assistant at the Humboldt University and SCIoI on the project 45 “Modeling Neurogenesis for Continuous Learning” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Verena Hafner, alongside with Magdalena Yordonova. Their aim is to derive models that are better at continuously learning in scenarios in which new information types might constantly be encountered and also are able to plasticize, restructure in a modular and adaptive way. He is currently finishing his bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering at TU Berlin and wishes to continue studying machine learning and AI, as he is highly interested in neuroscience and psychology. Parallel to his work as a student assistant, he tutors in C and Java programming at TU Berlin.
