What’s important is that you have basic quantitative skills and moreover provide a motivational letter that shows your interest in the theme of “Embodied Intelligence – Perception and Learning in Nature and Robotics”.

Through the online application system, you will be asked to provide personal details, a motivational letter (including a paragraph about your quantitative skills and why you are passionate about the topic of “Embodied Intelligence – Perception and Learning in Nature and Robotics”), a CV, and a research abstract describing your current research to be presented during this Summer School  (poster session). Some research abstracts will have the opportunity to be presented as spotlight talks.

Furthermore, please ask a scientist familiar with your work to send a letter of recommendation to the e-mail address
