NEWS: SCIoI PI Thorsten Pachur received a W3 professorship at TU München

We are very proud to announce that last month, our PI Thorsten Pachur recently received a W3 Professorship at the Technische Universität München (TUM). Thorsten, who will still remain a SCIoI PI,  studies the cognitive foundations of decision making, and is particularly interested in understanding how the human mind, given informational and computational constraints, can master an uncertain world. At SCIoI, Thorsten works on Project 22, “Ecologically rational strategy selection”
