Leonie-Iva Pawlak is currently studying veterinary medicine at the Free University of Berlin and has a particular interest in animal welfare, animal behaviour as well as laboratory animal science. She is a student research assistant at SCIoI working on the ‘Mouse Lock Box‘ project in which the analysis of problem solving behaviour in lab mice is aimed to help us gain a further understanding of intelligence in general.
In addition, Leonie-Iva holds an environmental engineering degree (B.Sc and M.Sc) from the Technical University of Berlin.“
