Christopher Schutz serves as the Lab Manager with a special focus on animal care at the SCIoI fishlab, led by Prof. Dr. Jens Krause at the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science at HU Berlin and worked with fish for several years. In his current position, he is responsible for taking care of all live fish in the laboratory of Project 41, primarily focusing on tropical freshwater fishes like the clonal ‘Amazon Molly.’ (Poecilia formosa), the Guppy (P. reticulata) or the Sulphur molly (P. sulphuraria). Christopher further actively contributes to the planning and implementation of experimental designs for various SCIoI projects.
