Bianca Pacini initially studied Astronomy at the University of Bologna before transitioning to Physics of Complex Systems at the Polytechnic University of Turin. For her Master’s thesis, she joined the Romanczuk Lab, where she investigated how to model the collective behavior of fish schools by combining theoretical analysis with empirical data. After graduating, she continued her work within the group and is now involved in SCIoI Project 41,  where she explores the mechanisms underlying emergent collective dynamics in animal groups.
