Thinking about taking the SCIoI Track?

The SCIoI Master Track is not an independent master program, but a variant of the Master program Computer Science at TU Berlin that focuses on courses in the field of intelligence research. Hence, the SCIoI Master Track follows the study regulations of the Master program in Computer Science at the Technical University of Berlin.

The only requirement is to be enrolled in the Master’s program in Computer Science at the Technische Universität Berlin.

The MSc program Computer Science is entirely in English. No German skills are required. For details on the admissions criteria, please check the website of the master program Computer Science

No, there are no additional fees beyond the fees of the university.

To participate in the course, you need to be enrolled in the master program Computer Science at TU Berlin. For all information on the admission procedure see here.

No, unfortunately we cannot offer scholarships.

It is sufficient to be enrolled in the Master’s program in Computer Science at the Technische Universität Berlin. A separate enrollment is not necessary. However, if you want to enrol in the track, please inform us by email (graduate@scioi.de). We will also be happy to answer any questions related to your study plan.

If you are a student of another university or in a different master program, you will probably not be able to complete the track as a whole, but you may be allowed to enrol in courses that are part of the track. Please contact the person responsible for the respective course in that case. 

The SCIoI Master Track is only offered to students in the master program Computer Science. However, you are welcome to take the modules included in the SCIoI track if compatible with the study regulation of the master Computer Engineering.

Yes, but please inform us. We also suggest that you seek our advice on your study plan, to make sure that it is consistent with the regulations of the track.
