SCIoI at the Berlin Clusters of Excellence Science Slam 2026

As part of Berlin Science Week, Science of Intelligence will once again join the Berlin Clusters of Excellence Science Slam on 6 November 2026. This much-loved tradition, hosted by Berlin’s seven Clusters of Excellence (SCIoI, MATH+, UniSysCat, SCRIPTS, Neurocure, Temporal Communities, Matters of Activity) transforms complex research into lively and entertaining performances.
Representing SCIoI, Oussama Zenkri will take the stage with his talk:
“Artificial Intelligence: Now With Vision, Language, and Absolutely No Clue.”
In just six fast-paced minutes, he will explore what today’s AI systems can see and say—and what they still fail to understand. Expect humor, sharp insights, and creative science communication as researchers from Berlin’s Clusters of Excellence compete for the audience’s vote.
At the end of the evening, the audience will decide which slammer takes home the title.
