Sophia Meier is a student assistant at SCIoI working on the project “Mouse Lock Box”, which seeks to investigate problem-solving behavior in mice and thus intelligent behavior in an overall sense. The project involves observing and analyzing the behavior of mice using computer vision and deep learning algorithms as the mice try to solve mechanical puzzles called “Lock Boxes” to obtain food. Sophia received her B.Sc. in Computer Science in 2020 from the Leipzig University of Applied Sciences and is currently pursuing her M.Sc. in Computer Science at the TU Berlin with a focus on cognitive systems.
