Olivia O’Connor graduated from Boston University in 2018, with a degree in behavioral biology and marine science. She continued on to study marine biology through the International Master’s in Marine Biological Resources (IMBRSea), through Ghent University, the University of Algarve, the Polytechnic University of Marche, and the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology.  In 2020, she completed a master’s thesis analyzing the mortality rates of the harbour porpoise through strandings data. With both SCIoI and Humboldt University, she is working as a research assistant and laboratory technician for projects in the Krause Lab on collective behavior and collective cognition (SCIoI Projects 10, 11, & 12).
