Martina Vortel

Student Assistant



Martina Vortel is a student assistant at the Cluster Science of Intelligence working in the field of philosophy of science. As a cross-sectional study, the project ‘Methods of the Synthetic Approach’ investigates the cluster’s methodology of using synthetic artifacts (such as computer programs or robots) to research intelligent behaviour. Martina holds an interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts and Science with a major in molecular biology from McGill University. She is currently completing a Master of Science in Public Health with a research focus on the epistemological implications of big data methodologies in medical research.
