Gasser Elazab is a student assistant working on the research project ‘Object-level scene descriptions and attention in visual search’ at SCIoI. The project involves controlling a panda robot and state-of-the-art vision sensors. Currently, he is pursuing his MSc in Computer Science at TU Berlin and KTH in Stockholm as a part of a double-degree master’s program. He is interested in topics involving Robotics, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science with the highest honours from the German University in Cairo. Equipped with his diverse background, he worked also as a research assistant in the institute of optics in Stuttgart University as a part of his bachelor’s project and has a record of a publication tackling the platooning of autonomous vehicles.
