Once upon a time, around 10 years ago, our speaker Oliver Brock and Raul Rojas, professor of Artificial Intelligence at the FU, met at Restaurant Papillon, which is part of the Seminaris Campus Hotel Dahlem, to discuss the possible creation of an excellence cluster. Although the content of the meeting were very general (they discussed a first list of who they would like to involve and a possible topic), this meeting can be considered the first SCIoI meeting, the one that laid the foundations for Science of Intelligence! Therefore, if you are attending the October Retreat this year, be aware that you are in a historic location for our cluster!
