Tim Hildebrandt received his Master’s in Philosophy of Knowledge and Science at the TU Berlin after a BA in Philosophy and English obtained from the University of Göttingen. At SCIoI, his work focuses on the ethical implications of (future) outcomes of research. The aim of the project is an ethics of responsible design in robotics and AI to be developed in close interaction with the researchers of the cluster. The project employs methods of conceptual analysis, philosophical discourse analysis, expert interviews, stakeholder workshops and vision assessment. We closely collaborate with the Berlin Forum of Integrative Science and Technology Studies for measures of stakeholder involvement, public engagement, and science education.
