Miriam Kyselo is a philosopher and cognitive scientist. She is an expert in embodied and situated cognition and has extensive experience in interdisciplinary, empirically oriented conceptual research. In her work she focusses particularly on the minimal self and on the preconditions and structures of agency. When working as a Principal Investigator at SCIoI, she investigated the theoretical foundations of embodied and social intelligence and collaborate with the other disciplines (especially with robotics, psychology and neuroscience) to understand the mechanisms and dynamics of human, biological as well as artificial selfhood and social cognition. Miriam Kyselo is currently Associate Professor of Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies of NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology) in Trondheim.
